General Class Descriptions
Due to my busy show schedule I like to collect names from interested students and then create
classes with similar background experience. Get on the list and I will form a class especially
for you. Friends often come as a group for a weekend class. Please contact me via e-mail (see

Beginning Oil Painting Technique instructor: Sarah Waldron
This is a structured class in traditional oil painting techniques. Students will learn a loose, wet
on wet painting technique. Aimed at the total beginner or “impatient” oil painter looking for
a step-by-step approach. Individual instruction provided.

Intermediate Oil Painting Technique instructor: Sarah Waldron
This is a structured class in traditional oil painting techniques. Students will learn a loose, wet
on wet painting technique. Aimed at the advanced beginner to intermediate oil painter.
Individual instruction provided.

Oil Painting, Water Color and Drawing Help Workshop instructor: Sarah Waldron
This is an unstructured session for painters who would like help with a particular painting or
would like instruction with any part of the painting and drawing process. One on one help
and demonstrations. Individual instruction provided. Students can make a private
appointment to fit their schedule.
Class can be shared with a friend.

(Not recommended for total beginners)
Beginning Watercolor Technique instructor: Sarah Waldron
This is a structured watercolor technique class for beginning students or student who are
looking to review the basics in watercolor technique. Taught from a commercial illustrator’s
perspective for both loose and realistic approaches. Individual instruction provided.
Class limited to no more than 6.
Friday and Saturday and Sunday
$175. Supplies use available for an extra fee.
Beginning Polymer Clay
Basic beginning polymer clay techniques using texture, color and tools. Two wonderful fun
filled days to experiment and play.
Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday.
Visiting Instructors come to the studio from time to time. Get on the email list for updates
